Well, someone is getting panicky over your job going to India?!?! It’s the global economy, stupid!
Here’s a funny comment I read at Slashdot the other day, about an Indian e-mail service offering 1GB space:
Person X: In India, you don’t need hard drives to run a gigabyte mail service. You just get a billion peasants and pay them 50 cents a month to remember a single character.
Person Y: Half a billion dollars a month for roughly a gig of storage seems like the more costly solution to be honest. Considering your math and calculations its no wonder jobs are going offshore.
