Joe Wilcox has an excellent piece of advice for Microsoft: “Stop following Google! When Microsoft obsesses, it makes reactionary decisions and releases reactionary products that mimic its competitor. That’s not how Microsoft can succeed here.”
It makes me wonder, what if Microsoft buys Google?!?! Can Microsoft buy Google? Should Microsoft buy Google? Will Microsoft buy Google? And finally, will Google be up for sale to Microsoft? You know what, I think at the end of the day its much better the way it is – Microsoft “versus” Google. So far it has, and, will continue to promote “healthy” competition, making both the companies more agile – eventually building better tools and services.
