Today I received a new SIM card for my mobile from 3 Australia (3G network). The new SIM is said to include some enhancements and the biggest being that 3 has partnered with Telstra to provide roaming facility in 96% of the Australian terrain. Now that’s cool! I haven’t changed the SIM as yet but it seems like the phone manager software has also been updated – so I’m in the process of downloading it as I write this – although its a huge software update (running above 35MB so far). Hope all these enhancements are for the good as the 3 service does go crappy at times. In the coming months, I also plan to buy/replace a new 3 hand-set as the A835 I have right now is a bit bulky and boring 🙂 – but it still is feature-rich.
