It’s that time of the year again. 2008 brought us some great films. Let’s see what’s in store for 2009. Here are the 10 most exciting movies to come in 2009:


10. Terminator Salvation (May 2009) – ‘John Connor’ returns in this sci-fi, FX frenzy, written by James Cameron.

9. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (June 2009) – Optimus and Shia will be back with another surefire blockbuster with giant transforming robots. Watch Trailer.

8. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (September 2009) – A mix of fantasy and mystery starring Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, Colin Farrell, Jude Law. Trailer unavailable.

7. Avatar (December 2009) – James Cameron will bring this sci-fi thriller, around a band of humans pitted in a battle against a distant planet’s indigenous population.

6. Shutter Island (October 2009) – Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio team-up in this mystery drama based on a novel. Trailer unavailable.

1. Angels & Demons (May 2009) – Tom Hanks returns in this prequel to The Da Vinci Code, chasing the Illuminati.
